HELP IN STAYING FOCUSED

from Frontiers in Behavioural Neuroscience

The emergence of new technologies compete for our attention and difficulties in focusing our attention affect both young and old. There are a number of brain training apps for smartphones, but researchers at the University of Cambridge point out that many of those apps are not supported by rigorous scientific evidence. So, they developed and scientifically tested an app called Decoder aimed at helping users improve their attention and concentration. The research is published in Frontiers in Behavioural Neuroscience. In addition to healthy people, authors say they hope the app will be beneficial for people with attention impairments. Decoder is already available free as part of the Peak Brain Training app from the Apple store. An Android version is on the way.
